Originally from Glasgow, having lived and worked in London and New York, I am delighted to be able to call Perthshire my home.

Despite not having been formally trained in the traditional sense, I have attended many, many art classes over the years and gleaned everything I could from some extremely talented tutors. I achieved an HND in Art and Design after a full-time, two-year stint at Ayr College as a mature student, which firmly cemented my love of painting. 

As you can see from my portfolio, my body of work is fairly diverse, or eclectic, as I like to call it! This simply reflects the fact that I enjoy experimenting and learning and therefore, hopefully, growing as an artist. 

My first love is a still-life, I enjoy playing with perspective and scale, and will often juxtapose unexpected objects. Although in the last few years I have ventured into landscapes both traditional and sometimes a little less tradition. And have enjoyed the challenges of reflection in moving waters and dramatic cloud-filled skies.
